Candy Corn light fingering handspun
Handspun yarn in weight 1/light fingering/superfine, 271 yards and 2 ounces (63 g), in Candy Corn colorway. The yarn measures 21 wpi. This yarn is spun with one ply of Falkland wool and one of merino wool, both of which fibers are very fine (21-24 microns) and soft. This yarn has glorious drape. The skein was dyed after spinning with high-quality acid-fast dyes.
This is a two-ply yarn finished with a Z twist, meaning it may feel more natural to crocheters and Continental knitters than the majority of commercial yarns - but English knitters needn’t feel left out; it can be knitted that way too! As for weaving, it would make a lovely weft but likely lacks the tensile strength for a good warp.
As one might imagine, Candy Corn is a colorway consisting of dark brown, autumnal orange, and golden yellow.
